Somewhere between my projects, work and family autumn has fallen. This being my favorite time of year, I thought I’d share my recipe for the tastiest fall:
1 part fat knit sweater
2 bowls Spiced pumpkin soup (this recipe is really good!)
1 cup hot Ginger tea
1 hour walk in golden afternoon light
3 turmeric hued pillar candles
1 fuzzy friend to share it with
Repeat daily!
As always you are too much! I am glad to see you are alive and back to the web. I know you have been extremely busy as I have had reports
on you. Glad to see that maybe you are getting a little time to enjoy
the fall. After our 90 degrees last week we are now at usual cool temperatures. My flowers are still beautiful in hanging pots and we
really have no frost in forecast. We have Shelly and Jill this weekend
and plan to visit apple orchard and cider mill. Wish you were here to go
along. Miss you more each day. love ya

You’re cooking up a yummy season! I’m with you on the golden-lit walks.
As for pumpkins, I have a neighbor who grows a yard full of giant ones every year. If there is a Great Pumpkin, I know where it visits!

I have another ingredient to add: Mark Knopfler’s new album, Kill to Get Crimson, which despite the name is warm and mellow and folksy. I’ll make sure you get an opportunity to hear it soon.

Thanks for the book suggestion Jessi! You’re right, book title certainly doesn’t sound warm and folksy. I guess they didn’t ask for our marketing advice.

Hi Westi, it’s a CD, not a book, so don’t go on a wild goose chase!

What a great recipe! Fall is my favorite season, too. I love the change in light and there seems to be more fall colors in this area all the time. The only added ingredient for me would be a warm fire with the tea after the walk. Do you realize that as soon as you posted this recipe the weather got cooler and it started to rain???? Love ~
